Final fixture - Wessex League - March 4th 2012
Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 10:13PM The final fixture of the season takes place on a new course in a fabulous setting - the grounds of Kingston Lacy House (approx. 2 miles north of Wimborne on B3082). The post code is BH21 4EA and OS grid reference 195:ST980019.
As a reminder, we enter this league mainly to ensure our Under 11s (/Year 4, 5 & 6) get a chance to compete and we thus have two Junior Wessex XC Managers focussing on the younger athletes. All Year 4, 5 and 6 runners wanting to compete in this Wessex Cross Country League fixture should therefore send an email to Simon or Laura, as appropriate just to give us an idea of who to expect:

Anyone from the older age groups looking for a run out will be more than welcome but is expected to look after themselves. The meeting opens as usual with the combined U17/ U20/ Seniors race at 12.00. The under-11s, under-13s and under-15 run from 12.50 onwards.
U11 RUNNERS SHOULD THEREFORE ARRIVE AT THE COURSE BY NO LATER THAN 12.15 on the day.
Upon arrival, look for the WADAC flag. The team managers will provide further instructions from there.
We have been told that the course itself is gently undulating grass land (the under-15 races is also includes a section on soft-ish ground through woodland) and that presentations for the season will be made as promptly as possible after the conclusion of the final race of the day.
