This section does not aim to cover all the medical issues relating to athletics but rather as a link to the official sites so you can make your own decisions. Asthma Sufferers

The IAAF has revised its procedures for Doping Control to include the use of certain types of asthma  inhalers.

UK Athletics now require notification if you use:

• salbutamol (Ventolin)
• terbutaline (Bricanyl)
