Race for AAIR 2008

Winchester and District AC is proud to have hosted the 2008 Race for AIIR 10KM road race on Sunday 8th June, 2008, starting at 10am from River Park, Gordon Road, Winchester, SO23 7DD. Three children's fun runs will also take place: 500m for up to Year 2, 1KM for years 3 to 6 and 2KM for years 7 to 11.

Race for AAIR - Background

The First Race for AAIR 10K and fun runs took place on Sunday 8th July 2007. The AAIR Charity (Asthma, Allergy & Inflammation Research) The Charity, based at Southampton General Hospital was set up to raise funds for important research into the causes of asthma and allergy with the objective of finding effective treatments and cures to help secure a better future for suffers and their families.
