| League Tables |
The league is open to all runners who have not run faster than 6 mins/mile for men and 6.30 mins/mile for women in any measured race of five miles or longer as from 1st January 2002. Runners who record faster than the qualifying limits during the season are barred from taking part in any remaining races and will not be eligible for any trophies.
Qualifying times are:- Men Women
5 miles 30.00 32.30
10 k 37.17 40.18
10 miles 60.00 65.00
To aid club captains to determine suitability of runners who do not participate in measured/timed races, but who do partake in the RR10 series of summer runs, the guideline should be taken that any male runner who can finish within the top 25 places in a RR10 race is probably too fast for the cc6 series. For ladies, a top 5 place generally also means that they should not be competing. Please visit the CC6 website for full information and results
Please share transport to these events as parking is limited
Each summer (commencing April) there are a series of 10 races, “off road” of around 4˝ miles at various venues. All you have to do is to turn up, preferably in club colours and run. At the finish you will be given a 'finishing ticket' which you hand in to your club co-ordinator. ( Dave Walker in our case). There is a good atmosphere and it’s very competitive.
Also some people meet up at a pub afterwards.
