Sportshall report after last Hampshire league match

During the winter, Hampshire Athletics organised 3 league matches for the athletes to compete in various events from a 1 lap race, chest push to standing long jump. The matches are competed against 5 other local athletic clubs.

The first match took place in Portsmouth where the Girls team started tremendously well winning the match with the Boys coming a respectable 3rd.

The second match moved to Eastleigh where again the Girls team performed superbly well, winning the match, with 6 WADAC athletes placed in the top 10. Not to be outdone, the Boys team came first with 3 boys achieving a top 11 place, quality team performances..

We then travelled to Aldershot for the 3rd and final match - the girls team, with 2 wins were in an unassailable position of having won their league. For the boys, this was incredible right as they were tied jointly with Aldershot and Southampton.

Again both Girls and Boys team performed increditably well, the girls team winning for the 3rd successive time with 5 athletes in the top 10. The boys took their performance to a different level, winning the match and in the top 11, 7 were WADAC athletes.

The athletes that represent the girls U11 - Liane, Hallie, Lydia, Fleur, Clarice, Imogen, Eleanor, Daisy, Lexie, Issie, Amber, Mia, Bo and Francesca. The athletes that represented the Boys U11 - Christopher, Pheonix, Arthur, Ben, Dominic, Henry, Jude, Jack, Luca, Oliver, William G, Tom, Daniel, William M, Evan, Leo, Harry and Sebastian.
