Ballot for club places in Spring Marathons

The club has a number of places in the Virgin Money London Marathon 2017 (23rd Apr) and the Brighton Marathon (9th Apr). These will be allocated by ballot to be drawn at the Christmas Special Pub of the Month and entry to the ballot closes tomorrow 12th December.

nIn order to be eligible for the VMLM 2017 ballot members must have: - been a first claim club member since end Nov 2015- applied and been rejected in the public ballot - represented WADAC (or volunteer or official) in at least 5 events since end Nov 2015 - not been a recipient of a club place for the 2016 event - undertake to pay the event fee, do their best to take part in the 2017 event and to renew their WADAC membership in March 2017.

nIn order to be eligible for the Brighton 2017 ballot members must : - be a first claim club member - have represented WADAC (or volunteer or official) in at least 5 events since end Nov 2015 - not been a recipient of a club place for the 2016 event - undertake to pay the event fee, do their best to take part in the 2017 event and to renew their WADAC membership in March 2017.

nAthletes suitably qualified and wishing to enter the ballot are encouraged to apply to the secretary (secretary@wadac.org.uk) by end 12/12/16.
