Results from the CC6 at Kings Garn Inclosure

The forecast was for a sunny -6DegC - that was correctThe course notes said even though it might be cold and crisp on top you will break through and it will be muddy in parts - that was true, up to our kneesThe organisers promised lots of marshals plus cake at the finish - yup, didn't tell us the cake was at the top of a mile or so of relentless uphill though, what a finishing hill that was!
nCongratulations to the 13 WADAC runners who enjoyed a special morning for running in the New Forest, not sure how we will have done in the team scoring but we were delighted to have Top 10 finishers in both the ladies (Caroline Carr) and the men's (Matt Grote) categories.
nThe provisional results for the WADAC runners are hereThe final results are now available on the CC6 website but our ladies (Caroline Carr, Emma Carter, Louise Snook) were 5th and are now 2nd in their league whilst our men (Matt Grote, Colin McManus, Steve Oliver, Andrew Robinson) were also 5th and lie 5th in their league.Two more CC6 races to go this season, the next one is 19th February, 09.30 start at Dennywood.
