nWho can compete?
n

nThe
ncompetition is open to all Under 13s (Years 6 and 7), Under 15s (Years 8 and
n9), Under 17s (Years 10 and 11) and Under 20s (age at 31st August 2017). Note,
nthere is a separate QuadKids competition for Under 11s.

nWe
ncan enter 2 scoring athletes for each event (in each age category) and in the
ntrack events there is the ability to enter additional athletes as non-scorers
n(up to 5 non-scorers per age group, per event). There is a maximum of 2
nathletes plus one non-scorer per field event (in each age category).
n

nIf
nnecessary, we will give priority to those that signed up for the YDL but failed
nto make selection and those that weren’t able to do their preferred events at
nthe previous Wessex League matches.

nYou
nmust wear your WADAC vest in order to compete.
n

nPlease
nensure that you have paid your membership fee for the new season as we need to
nensure that all athletes are registered and have their England Athletics number
nbefore they can compete. We need to submit this information on the team sheet.
nMembership is £70 for individuals. For those new to U13s, this is £10 more than
nwhen U11s as it includes a £10 England Athletics registration fee.

nWhich events can I compete
nin?

ncan compete in a maximum of 3 events plus a relay.

nEvents
ninclude: sprints, sprint hurdles, middle distance, relays, long jump, high
njump, shot, javelin and discus.

nU13s/U15s
nwanting to run middle distance can compete in either the 800m or 1500m NOT
nboth.
