RR10 Netley
The Netley RR10 is traditionally a bit of a struggle for numbers with many athletes focussed on their Spring marathons but we had 25 WADAC runners at Netley last night for the first race of the new season. The full results can be found here
nWe were delighted to have Jo Meek out running at the front and winning the ladies race. Jo was backed up strongly by Karen Rushton (8th & 1st W40) and Natalie Cain (11th) so that our ladies A team were 2nd on the night. Congratulations to them.
nWith many established names missing things were a little more sedate amongst our men so that our A team of Dan Cunnington (31st), Peat Allan (41st), Martyn West (68th & 1st M60), Pete Curtis (86th) and Martin Davies (91st) finished down the list in what was something of a loosener for the men.
nThanks to Caroline Carr for doing a sterling job with the clipboard.
nThe next RR10 is May 3rd at Stoney Cross with a 19.15 start, open to all athletes just turn up in a club vest and run! All races are 4-5miles of scenic cross-country running and details of the full programme can be found on the RR10 website.
