WADAC Masters Success at British Championships
Niki Le Bas (W40), after only running her first sprint races
na couple of weeks ago, came away with double gold in the 100m and 200m in
noutstanding times of 12.97 seconds and 26.79 seconds, and leaping straight to
nthe top of the UK rankings in both events.

nHeather Mballa (W35) also achieved double gold in the
njavelin and discus, with impressive throws of 27.85m and 26.77m. She is
ncurrently placed 2nd in the UK in javelin and 3rd in the
ndiscus.

nMoira West (W65) ran to gold in the 100m in 15.53 seconds
nand silver in the long jump with 3.52m.

nHenry Hopkins (M55) came away with double bronze in the long
njump and triple jump – 4.78m and 9.88m, and ran well in the 400m with a time of
n65.73 seconds and in the 200m with a time of 29.37 seconds.

nSally Serridge (W50) won bronze in the javelin with a throw
nof 26.47m.

nAndy Gannaway (M50) ran well, with his quickest post-marathon
ntime of 2:18.22, finishing 8th.

nSteve Pethen (M45) ran 62.97 seconds in the 400m, finishing
n8th.

nKathryn Miles (W40) ran 13.75 seconds in the 100m and
nfinished 6th.
