Urgent call for Under 17 athletes for Wessex League at Horspath Track Oxford Sunday 2nd July

Hello all.The third Wessex league match of the season takes place this coming Sunday 2nd July at Oxford. We have won the first two matches of the season and lie equal top if the League. We have full teams signed up for the Under 13 and Under 15 age groups boys and girls but very disappointingly we only have 1 U17M & 1 U17W signed up for this match which virtually ends our chances of a top 3 placing in this match and with it much chance of continuing our top of the League position. This is an urgent plea for any U17 athlete to sign up for this match to compete in whichever event they wish to take in. This is great opportunity to do really well in this League and it would be a great shame if it ended because WADAC couldn't get a full team to compete. I was at Bournemouth yesterday to team manage the YDL Upper age and we only had 9 athletes competing over the four age groups which was again very disheartening from a team managers point of view.So please if able to compete please email myself girlswessex@wadac.org.uk or Kathryn Miles boyswessex@wadac.org.uk
