Officials Course in Winchester

It is possible for timekeepers / track judges to work in shifts so you can
nofficiate for a morning or afternoon, leaving you free to watch your child
ncompete for the rest of the day. Field officials cover a limited number of
nevents in a day and have breaks in between so you should still have the
nopportunity to watch your child compete.
nThe duration of the course is one day and WADAC will refund the course fee
nafter 12 months if you are able to officiate at 5 or more matches in the twelve
nmonths following the course. The course fee is £30. Most matches are on a
nSaturday or Sunday during the spring and summer months.
nThe courses are as follows:
n12 November – Timekeeping
n12 November – Starter
n26 November – Field
n26 November – Track
nThe deadline for registering for the timekeeper and starter
ncourses is the 27 October and for the field and track courses the
ndeadline is the 10 November. Please email me if you are interested
