Success on the first day of the Hampshire Championship: 12 medals

Well done to all the athletes who attended the Championship today. There were lots of athletes representing WADAC and they worked hard with many PBs.
nIn the U13s category Finlay Wrey Brown picked up a gold in discus and silver in Javelin. Sam Mballa got silver in discus. Beth Thorpe secured a gold in the 70m hurdles. Jess Marinus also picked up two medals: silver in shot and bronze in javelin.
nFor the U15s Douglas Scally put in an amazing performance to secure gold in the 800m with James Medley earning a bronze in the 3000m.
nEllie Livingstone and Amy Dawes obtained a bronze in the u17s hurdles and 300m respectively. The U20s secured a gold with Grace Mann in the 1500m. Charlie Maw secured a silver in the Pole Vault for the seniors.
nThere were a few fourths on the day too.
