WADAC at Castle Coombe Chilly Duathlon, 18 July

Tim Smales and Simon Stevens were WADAC representatives at the first of three events in the Chilly Duathlon Wednesday evening series at the Castle Coombe race track. The races are 2m run, 10m cycle, 2m run.Tim was second in 45.07, despite a faster first run and cycle than the winner, who caned the second run and had extraordinarily fast transitions. Simon was in an honourable 14th in 49.26, blaming the 15x400s he did the evening before for feeling a bit tired!The second event is on 1 August, when we are hoping Marius Kwint will join us to make a team of 3!
