Victory for Winchester at Dibden CC6
The Dibden CC6 4.7 mile course consisted of trails, streams and a few hills on the edge of the New Forest and brought out good performances from our athletes. The women excelled themselves with season debutantes Kath Bailey (1st) and Imogen Emmet (3rd), and Suzy Perry's second result in this series (5th on the day) ensuring the women's team came first. Able support came from Penny Freeman (7th), Charlotte Hoskins (10th), Emma Carter (12th), Liz Marshall (34th), Louise Snook (39th), Madeline Vosser (74th), Carrie Oliver (78th).The men's team came 4th on the day with Guy Brayn leading our team (9th), a strong finish by Alex Whiting (18th) followed by Way Bevan (28th) and Andy Parkinson (30th) completing the quartet of the mens team. Strength in depth was achieved with Jono Brown (32nd), Neil Brown (47th), Derek Gilby (50th), David Vosser (62nd), Steve Oliver (69th), James Coulson (76th), Saul Duck (86th), Adrian Haughton (89th), Colin McManus (90th) and a full set of 3 results so far, Stephen Lowy (93rd), Steve Cluett (111th) and Andrew Robinson (112th), Rob Porter (116th) and Pete Watts (137th).Ready for more?
