Hampshire Sportshall League Match 4
The final Hampshire Sportshall League match of the season took place at the new venue of Havant Leisure Centre. Throughout the match presentations were made to all the individual event and points winners plus team trophies as the match progressed.
nFor Winchester & District Athletic club (WADAC) the best performing age group were the Under 13 boys where they dominated the individual places. Sam Mballa won the event overall which meant that he finished joint aggregate winner for the season, an admirable performance. Sam was also given the best Speed Bounce medal for the season. Oscar Hoult had his best individual result of the season finishing 2nd with a very consistent set of results, this gave Oscar 3rd position in the aggregate placings. In 5th position was Oscar Webb who had an enormous Standing Triple Jump of 6.90m which was the best of the season. Completing the team was Stan Parkinson in 13th. The WADAC U13B team were joint team winners with Aldershot.

nSam Nicholson was 3rd on the day which included the second best 3 Lap time. His consistency over the season gave him an excellent 2nd position in the aggregate standings. Next as usual was Daniel Harrison in 7th, in which he had a speedy 1 Lap of 12.2 the 4th best time of the day. Completing the WADAC team were Timon Francis 11th and Mackenzie Paterson 14th to give them 2nd team on the day which was the place they achieved for the season. Other positions were Josh Davies 21st, Lucas Steel 31st, Oscar Baker 36th, Benno Thomas-Machleidt 41st and Nicholas Izak 50th.

nThe best placed WADAC Under 13 girls this time round was Elisa De Liberali in 8th position which was a reward for a very good season. Next in was Addie Thomas 9th including a good run in the 1 Lap, then a slightly under par Grace Weeks (illness) in 10th and Annabella Marsh 11th and very good prospect Isabelle Steel 12th. The team were 2nd on the day and 3rd overall in the aggregate for the season. Other WADAC were Talya Wright 14th, Lucy Thomson and Lucy Smith 18th.
n In a fiercely competitive Under 11 girl section with almost 70 competitors the best placed WADAC U11G was Elsa Edgecombe 25th who’s best result was in the Standing Triple Jump with a distance of 4.86m. The scoring team was completed by Sara Bucci 33rd, Orla Edgecombe 34th and Bethany Mballa 35th (including a 9th best Vertical Jump of 43) The rest of WADAC U11G performers were Cecily Farrand 43rd, Claudia Smith 45th, Veronica Bucci 48th, Isla Hoult 50th, Emily Thomas-Machleidt 52nd, Tara McGee 53rd, Alice Ngwata 54th and Polly Newman 55th
