Message from our new sponsor Alexandra Sports

A warm hello to the WADAC committee, members & family.
nIt is a great honour to be your new sponsors. We look forward to meeting you all in the near future and working closely with the club committee & athletes. It is our aim to assist the club in achieving its goals and subsequent successes.
nWe have received some great feedback from committee members. As a result of this feedback, we have already started to action the requests made.
nFirstly was the club kit availability and pricing. Alexandra Sports have invested in good quantities of club vests, adult men's, women's & junior along with crop tops. Due to the numbers ordered and the re-order levels we have put in place, everyone should be able to obtain a singlet (vest) throughout the year. The kit will be available on the 14th September at the end of summer party, then from our store in Oliver's Battery.
nThe suppliers are Ron Hill and they are made with sublimation print, so the material is modern, light and without seams across the chest. We have managed to bring the price down from £22.00 to £18.00 with the junior singlets/vests being £16.00.
nWe are currently working on hoodies with a good fit, especially around the hood, beanies and kit bags. Samples should be available for you to view shortly. Once these items have been sourced we will work on bespoke products to supply before the end of the year.
nFootwear requests have also been received with a strong preference for brands such as Saucony & Adidas.
nWe now have a good representation of Saucony in store, including road running and lightweight shoes. We will continue to build this brand in-store and welcome any further requests you may wish to put forward.
nAdidas cross country and boost have also been requested, we will start to take delivery of these items later this week. Cross country spikes have already started to arrive and for the new season, we will have Adidas, Brooks & New Balance, with Saucony to follow shortly.
nAlexandra Sports are looking to hold events at the track at the end of each month, these will be informative and hopefully something for everyone. These will include shoe testing, bra fitting, talks etc. These events will be communicated via email and on the WADAC website.
