Wessex Cross Country League - Season Review
The Wessex Cross Country League provides a great opportunity for our younger runners to get experience of cross country running in a series of small and friendly races across the autumn months.
n
nThis season the Under 11 boys really excelled taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in all 3 races. Casper Wilson ran really well in the first race of the season to take 1st place. Since then, Ethan Skipwith dominated with 2 race wins. Seth Noott ran consistently well all season to finish 2nd in each race. Zac Reynolds also featured on the podium in 3rd place in the opening race. Well done to Seth Noott, Casper Wilson, Monty Wilden and Tom Price, who competed in all 3 races this season.
n
nIn the Under 11 girls races, WADAC picked up 2 more race wins, with Poppy Taylor (race 1) and Lucia Bertaccchini (race 2), crossing the line first. Well done to Lucia Bertacchini, Rosanna Fox-Robinson and Amber Price, who competed in all 3 races this season.
n
nWADAC also had a number of athletes in the Under 13 age group. Well done to Ruben Price who posted top 10 finishes all season. Well done also to Matthew Friend and Maisie Curtis who competed in all 3 races this season.
