WADAC claimed a Southern championships title on Sunday as Natasha Mitchell (coached by Mum Clare) won the U15 girls Race Walking championships over a 3km course around the Hillingdon cycle circuit. Sister Rebecca (also coached by Clare) was 3rd in the 5km U17 womens race.The walking team are a distinctive and welcome group around the Winchester track and are bringing success in an event that is much tougher than it looks. I have helped out with club IT for several years inlcluding setting up the club’s Microsoft 365 for email, Teams etc and web site migraiton. Occasional parkrun run director, still enjoying my running though never got anywhere near a podium!
