Ellie smashes her pb

Ellie Livingstone (coach John Miller) became the 2nd WADAC athlete to compete on the track since lockdown when running the 400m at the Nuneaton senior & U20 open on Sunday. Ellie whose specialist event is the 400m hurdles made the long trip worthwhile by running under the 60 second mark for the first time in the 1 lap race without barriers. Ellie has clearly been training hard during the lockdown period as she took over 2 seconds off her previous 400m best to record a time of 59.39 which takes her 3rd in the clubs all time lists for both senior & U20 women. The club records have all been reformatted during the lockdown period in an all time top 3 format making them much easier to read and we are hoping that this is the first of many performances to get onto the top 3 lists in the 3 months that remain of the outdoor season. Please take a look in the new history section of the club website to see what performance you have your eye on breaking.
