Major athletics champs returns

For the first time since the World athletics champs in Doha in October 2019 we can look forward to watching a major global athletics championships as the European Indoor champs take place in the City of Torun in Central Poland over the next 4 days.GB have selected a strong team and for those young WADAC athletes dreaming of their senior GB vest I would point out that 3 of the athletes taking part all grew up relatively locally competing in local league's and championships before moving on to bigger and better things these being Holly Mills from Andover, Oliver Bromby from Southampton & Piers Copeland from Wimborne.We wish them and all the GB athletes well and you can watch the action live in a number of places with the first event being the qualifying round of the mens high jump featuring GB's Joel Khan at 6pm GMT.
