The track & field season continues to gather momentum as witnessed by top class athletics returning to the UK with the Diamond League in Gateshead and the traditional international season opener, the Loughborough International match, both taking place this weekend.
nMore locally, we will have a number of athletes in action this weekend at local open meetings, and on Wednesday the first schools' championship event takes place since March 2019, when U15 young athletes take part in the Hampshire Schools' multi-events championships in Basingstoke.
nWADAC will be well represented in both boys' and girls' events, as athletes look to secure a Hampshire Schools' vest for the South East England regional schools' combined event champs in Lee Valley at the end of June.
