Sportshall season

After a year off due to the pandemic, I am delighted to confirm that sportshall athletics returns for the 2021/22 Autumn & Winter season.The is a fun indoor form of athletics where the youngest of our members compete in individual and team competitions in a multi-event run, jump & throw format.For sportshall, the children retain their age groups from the summer and therefore schools years 4,5 & 6 compete as U11, school years 7 & 8 as U13's and school years 9 & 10 as U15's.The first team competition will be the first round of the Hampshire sportshall league in Portsmouth on the 14th November and Team Managers will be in touch with parents of U11's and U13's to confirm availibility. There are up to 20 young athletes in a team. U15's compete as individuals.A selection event will take place for U11's only at King's school on Sunday the 7th November and look out for details of this event coming soon via the website.
