Round up of some of this weekend’s races

nWADAC was well represented at the Great South Run. Sub 60 results were reported by David Mills (56:12) and James Moore (59:26); Zac Jeps was in close pursuit with 60:00 as was Alexander Whiting with 62:31 and James Webster with 64:49. Big congratulations to Kathy Bailey who won her age group with a time of 66:36 and Karen Rushton, 3rd in the same age group (69:14). Completing the field for WADAC were Leon Jones, Rick Munro and Stuart Horsewood – well done all.

nPrizes at a lesser known race, the Dramathon 2021, were cleaned up by the Oliver family. The Dramathon, described as forest tracks with short road sections and hilly terrain, based in the Scottish Highlands offered a marathon, half, 10k and a relay. Congratulations to Tom Oliver 2nd; Steve Oliver 13th, Helen Oliver 6th in the half marathon and Carrie Oliver in the 10K.

nOther notable results were Andy Winterbottom, 8th in the Swansea half marathon (73:08) and Sarah Witt 22nd in her age group in the Oxford half.
