Snr Men fly the flag for WADAC at the National Road Relays

The National 6-stage relays are a highlight of the road race calendar with all the top clubs and all their top athletes wanting to be there. Such is the demand that the Snr Men's teams have to be invited through a qualification process and through performance at their regional qualifier events. Getting to the Nationals is an achievement in itself and we were delighted to be heading up to Birmingham to compete against the best in the land. Moreover we were able to send a strong team:George King, Stuart Mccallum, Tim Smales, David Mills, Calum Upton and Will Boutwood completed the 6*5.848km course in an aggregate time of 1h54'34 and so finished 34th out of 79 teams. Stu Mccallum was our fastest on the day.Congratulations chaps, comfortably top half and flying our flag at the Nationals in fine style !
