Fantastic turnout from WADAC for the Gosport Half Marathon

28 men and 13 women represented WADAC in the popular Gosport Half on Sunday braving the cold, breezy but beautiful morning by the sea.
nJames Moore was 16th overall out of a field of 1,322 with a time of 1:15:32 closely followed by Richard Bidgood in 17th and 3rd in his age category. Sarah Gurney was our first lady home in a time of 1:24:29 and 1st in her age category.
nA further 7 age category podiums were claimed by Nick Wood (2nd), Colin Armstrong (3rd), Katy Mardle (1st), Steve Oliver (2nd), Lynne Whitaker (1st), Joy Radford (1st), and Shirley Dyson-Laurie (1st).
nWe look forward to seeing how this affects our placings in the HRRL.
