Success at County Schools Combined event champs

The Hampshire Schools Athletics Association combined events champs took place at Andover yesterday afternoon and results in 3 of the 4 titles going to WADAC young athletes. The 4th event (Intermediate boys) did not include any athletes from the club. Indeed the winners and runners-up in 3 of the 4 age groups all were WADAC members. In the Junior Boys age group Zac Reynolds took the title from Ethan Imhofe although Ethan picked up an injury and was unable to run the last event (800m).For the ultra competitive Junior girls event Gracie Osman took gold from Lucia Bertacchini in 2nd place and for the Intermediate girls Abi Belward took first place from Carys Jeffries in 2nd.All 6 athletes are coached by Andy Fisher and will now be selected for Hampshire schools and will represent their county schools team in the Regional finals of the national schools combined events championships in Crawley on the 25th & 26th June.
