Endurance men sample party atmosphere at Parliament Hill
Ben Findlay, George King & Will Boutwood (all coached by Nick Anderson) took part in the night of the 10,000m pb's at Parliament Hill on Saturday night. This spectacular event is hosted at the Highgate Harriers track at the bottom of the hill and for many is lauded as the future of endurance track running as it features a spectators beer tent, a tracking laser around the track, a camera held by a cyclist next to the runners and is streamed live. It also serves as the British 10,000m championships and trial for major championship selection. It always receives rave reviews from those who have taken part.Spilt into various races throughout the evening, WADAC was well represented with Ben coming 17th in race 1, George was 2nd in race 2 and Will was 28th in race 5 in a rare chance to race the 25 lap distance around a track.Well done fellas and for those not familier with the event it is well worth a look on YouTube as it is like nothing else currently held in the UK although events like this are relatively common in mainland Europe.
