nComing off a strong cross-country season, Ruben Price (TS3) took a fine win at the first event last weekend, a duathlon at Milton Keynes bowl. Ethan Skipwith (TS3), slowly coming back in to running form followed him in with a 1-2 for WADAC.

nThe first triathlon was on Saturday, Oldbury triathlon, Calne. With most of the big hitters, it’s always exciting to see who has form coming off a winter of cross country and County/Regional swimming events. Another podium for Ruben, proving he’s one of the main contenders this season. Strong performances from Ben Philips (TS2) and Kali Ruffell-Moreira (TS3) with 4th and 6th respectively. A lap counting error by Ethan Skipwith cost him a top 10 finish and highlighting how much triathlon is about thinking under pressure as physical ability.

nGreat to see our youngest member, Henry Phillips, age 7 taking part and hopefully inspiration to our other young members of the club to give this exciting sport a go.
