Moira wins sprint double at British Masters champs

The British Masters athletics track & field championships is a highlight of the vets track & field calendar and this took place in Derby at the weekend. The club demonstrated that female masters sprinting is in rude health.
nMoira West (coach Elias Mtshweni) won the 100m & 200m gold on Saturday in the V70 age group and her training partner Kathryn Miles (coach Elias Mtshweni and Dave Sherry) won the B races in the 100m and 200m V45 age group on the Sunday, finishing 4th in the 200m and 5th in the 100m overall.
nGreat sprinting ladies it is fantastic to have a current British champion at the club.
