No sooner had Toby Cooke gone 2nd on the clubs all time 5000m list than Stu McCallum (self coached) breaks that mark just 2 weeks later.Stu who is a life member of the club, ran a personal best time of 13 mins 50.44 secs in the BMC at Watford on Saturday to go 2nd on the clubs all time 5000m list now just ahead of Toby Cooke and 8 secs behind club record holder John Beattie.Stu has accepted his invitation to compete at the 1500m at the UK athletics Championships in Manchester the weekend after next and is clearly in good form ahead of the champs.
