King George fields

As many of you will have experienced we are privileged to have excellent facilities at Winchester having both a track and fields around us. Having reviewed the facilities around us it is clear there is a lack of floodlit grass areas in Winchester and so we are consulting on whether or not to invest in temporary floodlights in King George field so we can improve the experience for all wadac users and open up more of the field in the winter. It will also make it safer for all. Initial discussions with the council have been productive and if agreed we should be able to move quickly. The council are also developing the club house and a new one will be build by April 2023. Until then, we have access to the current club house. If anyone has any comments or suggestions please let me know.
