Top Bio-mechanic coming to talk to WADAC members next Tuesday (27th)
Female athletes and their (female) parents or carers can register for our next interactive workshop in Breast biomechanics and bra fitting for sport on 27th September 2022 at the Clubhouse.
nThis is a women’s only event and will give you the opportunity to:
n
nUnderstand the biomechanics of your breasts during vigorous exercise
n Discover how a well fitted bra can increase performance
n Make running more comfortable and pain free
n Learn how to look after your body and protect the ligaments in your breasts which can lead to shape change later in life
n Be fitted for the perfect bra by one of our experts from Alexandra Sports
n
nThe workshop is relevant and important for all girls and women who regularly take part in sport, as no matter what your body shape, the 3D movement when you run is the same and the ligaments need supporting and protecting; even younger girls can benefit from extra support.
nWe are incredibly lucky to have Biomechanic and England Lionesses very own ‘bra prescriber’ Professor Joanna Wakefield-Scurr who will be leading the workshops and available to answer any questions.
nAlexandra Sports will be providing delicious treats and refreshments, bra fittings, experts to answer any questions and private spaces to change.
nThere will be two workshops, one after the Juniors at 6:30pm and one after the Seniors at 8pm.
nYou can register now by following the registration link or contact Alexa Comb at clubadmin@wadac.org.uk.
nWe look forward to seeing you there.
