Hampshire Sportshall league

Slightly more timely reporting of the 2nd round of the Hampshire sportshall league which took place today at Places Leisure in Eastleigh.
nThe U15 age group is an individual competition and for the U15 girls Olivia Bartoslewicz made a fine debut for the club finishing in 4th place with Behany Mballa in equal 5th despite not competing in the last event the speed bounce. For the U15 boys Joel Stanton repeated his performance in match 1 by finishing 2nd.
nThe rest of the age groups are team competitions. The U13 girls won the team competition with Lily Flute the first of the scorers also winning the individual event. The rest of the scorers were Anais Andrew (5th), Kezia Young (6th) and Poly Newman (9th). The b team were 4th on the day with the scorers being Ava Gibb (11th), Issie Mountford (12th), Olivia Millist (17th) & Charlotte Austin (18th). The U13 boys also won the team competition with Sam Evans the first of the scorers (3rd), Rhys Wye was next (5th) followed by William Griffiths and Jackson Purdie who were equal 6th.
nThe U11 girls team were 2nd on the day with Bo Hatchett in 6th, Francesca Bertacchini in 7th, Lottis Osman in 12th and Grace Cater in 18th being the coring athletes. The b team were 6th on the day with the scorers being Astrid Reed (19th), Fleur Robinson (equal 22nd), Ayla Hermitage (24th) and India Middleton (equal 36th). Another U11 girl taking part was Daisy Robinson who was 48th with an enormous field of 61 U11 girls taking part. The U11 boys team were also 2nd on the day. Declan Dew (4th), Harry Elliott (8th), Seth Howard (12th) & Ethan Wilde (15th). The b team were 6th on the day with the scorers being Thoms Brown (24th), Tom Jepson (equal 25th), Charlie Griffiths (34th) & Lex Barker (38th). Another U11 boy taking part was Owen Wilson in 44th with 49 boys taking part in this age group.
nThe Hmpshire sportshall league now takes a break until the New Year with the next match taking place on the 21st January.
