Weekend track & field preview

After a weeks break for Christmas & New Year, indoor track & field resumes on Monday with the traditional curtain raiser to the New Year the Lee Valley New Years Open.Always an opportunity to be high in the pof10 rankings as they become refreshed for the New Year, it is great to see 8 WADAC athletes on the start lists as they take on distances from 60m to 800m.It is particularly nice to see the name of Maddie Turner (coach John Miller) on the start lists who hasn't competed since suffering a terrible injury in the 400mh at the April 2021 WADAC Open meeting and we wish Maddie and all the WADAC athletes well in their first competitions of the New Year.
