Ladies find success again in the mud at the County Champs

The mud was thick yet again at Fairthorne Manor but that didn’t slow the senior and vet ladies of WADAC.Helen Hall led (so I’m told) from the start to take her second Hampshire Champion Title with India Lee (enjoying the down season from Triathlons) coming in 2nd. Next for the ladies was Kath Bailey in 14th and 1st V50 a superb performance and completing the senior ladies team was Ellie Swire in 18th. This amazing running gave the WADAC senior ladies a brilliant Silver just behind a very strong team from Jersey. The Vet ladies had a ridiculously strong V50 side - 1st Kath Bailey(14) 2nd Jane Gandee(25)3rd Sam Parkinson (29) 4th Emma Carter (36th). This strong team made most of the Vets team and won a superb Gold with Kath, Jane, Sam and Charlie Hoskins sneaking in to take the 4th spot (v45). Alison Fenwick also had a fantastic results coming 2nd V55 (43rd)A wonderful day of racing and no torrential down pours!
