Calum & Charlotte both pb at BUCS

One of the biggest mass participation events of its kind, the British Universities & Colleges indoor track & field Championships took place over the weekend at the English Institiute of Sport in Sheffield.Athletes compete for their university teams with a large emphasis on both participation and performance.Calum Upton (coach David Vosser) ran sub 9 mins in his 3000m heat for Aston University to finish 7th and in doing so recorded both a new pb and the fastest time of all his previous appearances at the BUCS indoor champs showing that Calum is in great shape.Charlotte Longdon (coach Andy Fisher) went under the magic 8 sec mark for the 60m for the first time, recording a time of 7.99 secs to come 4th in her heat represdenting Leeds University and repeated this good performance with a time of 26.28 secs to come 3rd in her 200m heat. This time putting Charlotte 3rd on the clubs all-time indoor lists.
