The clubs athletes were in action last night with Mark Upton's group making the trip to Watford where U20 man Alex Beck (coach Mark Upton) made a fine start to the season with a run of 48.90 in the 400m just outside his best which he set at the National U20 indoor champs in February. Elsie Brindle (coach Mark Upton) and Laura Clark (coach Mark Upton) both had huge negative winds to put up with in their 200m races but despite this Laura ran a seasons best and Elsie wasn't too far off her seasons best time. Oliver Wye (coach Mark Upton) ran a pb in his 400m race.Arabella Wilson (coach Andy Fisher) was in action at the open meeting in Kingston and blew the cobwebs way with a 100m time of 12.45 secs.A few further results to catch up on from the weekend where Mia Judd (coach Tony Bateman) jumped 1.60m at the open meeting in Eton on Sunday and Beth Mballa (coach Heather Sheffield) threw a pb of 27.95m in the discus as well as throwing well in shot & javelin at the Open meeting in Poole on Saturday.
