Ruben goes 3rd on clubs U17M 3000m all time list

Ruben Price (coach Nick Anderson) took 10 seconds off his lifetime best to win his 3000m race at the BMC PB classic in Oxford yesterday. Ruben's time of 9 mins 07.42 secs was good enough to knock trainer partner Will Atkin's off of 3rd place on the clubs all time U17M age group list.5 of the clubs other middle distance athletes took part in the BMC PB classic at Millfield School in Street with Poppy Taylor (coach Nick Anderson) running a seasons best time of 4 mins 43.83 secs in coming 2nd in her 1500m race. Training partners Thomas Evans (coach James Mann), Thomas Jacobs (coach James Mann) and Annie Mann (coach James Mann) all ran in the same 1500m race with Thomas Jacobs winning bragging rights by finishing in 6th place just ahead of Thomas Evans in 7th and Annie in 11th. Eddie Chambers (coach James Mann) ran just a smidge outside the pb he set last week in his 800m race where he finished 7th.
