More young athletes open their indoor season
All time top 3 indoor performances recorded in Cardiff & Lee Valley.
4 more young athletes opened their indoor season and some were in record breaking form at Open Meetings in Cardiff and Lee Valley respectively. Zac Reynolds (coach Andy Fisher) ran his first ever 400m and his first ever race at the U17 age group and in doing so went 2nd on the clubs all time age group indoor list with a time of 53.37 seconds. This came off a first 200m of 25 secs and in lane 1 so Zac will have learned a lot from the experience.
Lily Flute (coach Andy Fisher) ran both 60m & 300m in Lee Valley and went 2nd on the clubs all time indoor 300m age group lists with a time of 42.35 secs which is a nice season opener. Isobel Jordan (Coach Andy Fisher) also did the 60m, 300m double recording pb’s in both and her time of 44.10 secs in the 300m was a 2 sec indoor pb. Poppy Crook (Coach Andy fisher) blew the jumps cobwebs away with a distance of 4.27m in the long jump and 1.53m in the high jump.
Many more WADAC names are on the Open Meeting lists for next weekend, look out for the results.
