Thomas wins at Ayo Falola Dream mile event

One result I missed from last week was Thomas Jacobs (coach James Mann) competing in the Ayo Falola dream mile event at Lee Valley last Wednesday.

Ayo was one of the UK’s best loved track & field coaches knows particularly as a calming influence on athletes and fellow coaches and he coached a number of notable athletes including Shelayna Oskan-Clarke and Donna Fraser.

The event in his honour features a number of mile races and Thomas won the first of these in a time of 4 mins 30.42 secs a new pb.
