The Easter Bank Holiday weekend always brings a number of Open Meetings and despite being early this year, this weekend is no different.

A World Athletics permit meeting takes place in Yeovil today and on Monday and I can see Rebekah Smith (coach Dave McManus), Elsie & Monty Brindle (coach Mark Upton), Tom Price (coach Elias Mtshwen), and AmberPrice (coach James Mann) all on the start lists chasing valuable world ranking points and qualifying standards.

Bracknell’s open meeting takes place today and the sprinters are well represented with Hayden Rogers (coach Dave Sherry) and Elsie & Monty Brindle and Oliver & Rhys Wye (all coached by Mark Upton) on the start lists.

There is an Open M<eeting in Crawley on Monday and the first of Watford’s popular fortnightly World Athletics permit Open Meetings takes place on Wednesday.
