2024 Review November

November is normally a quiet month for track & field but last November was an exception.

Two of our star multi-eventers Rebekah Smith (coach Dave McManus) and Seni Purnell (coach Andy Fisher) were selected for England schools for the Combined Events Indoor schools Home International match in Glasgow which took place on the 16th November. Rebekah & Seni thus became the 9th & 10th WADAC athletes to win International vests last year. Rebekah was 10th in the U17W age group and Seni was 4th in the U15W age group.

Also in November Panagiotis Karletsos and Sam Nicholson (both coached by Martin McBriar) took part in the Basingstoke Winter throws event both recording pb’s.
