Aspen is first to compete in New Year

It’s always nice to compete in the New Year’s day Open meeting at Lee Valley as it gets you on the new years rankings lists and also put the first WADAC marks down of the New Year.

Aspen Stoddart (coach Martin McBriar) had that honour this year as she competed in the indoor sprint races on Wednesday.

Aspen and her sister Winter are very talented throwers that have joined the club towards the end of last year with Aspen also being a sprinter a she showed with times of 8.44 secs over the 60m & 28.47 secs over the 200m.
