Thomas breaks club indoor record in Cardiff

Thomas Evans (coach James Mann) continued his fine recent form by winning the mens 1500m C race in the BMC indoor races in Cardiff on Sunday.

Tom showed impressive finishing speed to finish clear in a time of 3 mins 55.61 secs which is a new overall indoor club record and a pb for Tom either indoors or outdoors which bodes well for the season ahead. Training partner Thomas Jacobs (coach James Mann) was 6th in the same race going 2nd on the clubs all time indoor lists and Cardiff based Harry Harvey (coach James Thie) was 8th again in the same race.

Gus Bowden & Arabella Wilson (both coached by Andy Fisher) blew away some early indoor season rust in the high jump & 400m respectively at the Non Thomas Open held at the same time as the BMC event.
