More Detail
The RR10 league is a friendly low-key series of twelve races organised by local running clubs in South Hampshire and taking part on Wednesday evenings through the "summer months".
RR10s are held weekly or fortnightly on Wednesday evenings between April and August, are between 4 and 5 miles long and entirely off-road – on fields, tracks and through woodland.
All those who compete in 6 or more races gain a ranking in the league. Race locations include the New Forest and country parks within the local area.
The RR10s provide an opportunity for a midweek race in a scenic location. They provide a great introduction to competitive racing and with up to 400 runners taking part there is a very wide range of abilities and therefore no need to worry about coming last. They are friendly and sociable gatherings, some of us often try to fit in a pub stop afterwards.
The races are all free of charge to enter - but NEW FOR 2023 pre-registration of your intention to run (for the season not each race) is required HERE
on the day just turn up wearing your club vest and collect your finish token.
Transport can be arranged for those who need it.
See rr10.org.uk for more details.
The fixtures for the 2025 season are detailed below, please note that for event 4 4th June Badger Farm WADAC stand-down from racing and volunteer to organise the event.
