Harestock Handicap - 7th July 2016
We had 26 runners in the July handicap including 4 event newbies - welcome to Liz Marshall, Rick Munro, Mark Craven and Richard Shingleton-Smith. Richard in particular benefitted from a soft newbie handicap and was our winner on the night with Derek Smith second and Julia Hill third. There were close finishes throughout the field and a number of dead heats reported....in all 12 runners crossed the line in the "rush hour" 10secs either side of par and 11 runners beat their handicap.
n
nFastest on the night was again Tom Oliver flying round in 5'44 and successfully living with the highest handicap ever seen on this course. Special mention too for Dan Cunnington whose new PB of 6'29 sees him climb to No.21 on our honours board.

n
nNo change in the overall standings but Adrian Field has slightly increased his lead over Carrie Oliver....there are many more twist and turns to come in that story.
