Harestock Handicap - 4th August 2016
Despite the holiday season and it being the evening after the last of the RR10's we had 18 runners contesting the August Handicap including 4 event newbies - welcome to Abby Cappin, Annie Smith, Finlay Ducker and Pete Curtis. Annie benefitted from this months "soft handicap for the newbie" and cruised round to win the event in a gross time of 9'40 followed home by Steve Oliver and Liz Marshall.
n
nFin Ducker gets a special mention for being our youngest ever handicap runner, for bravely accepting the equal toughest handicap of the evening and for being second fastest on the night with a net time of 6min 34secs.....straight onto the honours board at No.26. Fastest on the night was James Moore in 6'10 net.

nJames Moore continues to lead the way in the overall standings and indeed runners who turn up most often tend to fill the top spots but there are still 2 discards to take into account and much can change.....you've got to be in it to win it! The current standings can be seen here
