Ladies win again at Whiteley CC6

Last Sunday 13 Winchester runners competed at the CC6 race in Whiteley. Despite a busy fixture list that weekend (Clarendon and Bournemouth) we had a good turn out and our athletes thrived in the autumn sunshine. Lucy Elliot led the ladies, coming first with Sam Parkinson 4th and Poppy Clements 8th ensuring the Winchester ladies team won the day. Madeleine Vosser and Isla Allan also providing a strong turnout for the ladies. Ian Debnam achieved a season best with 4th, followed by Paul Brittenden 19th, Martyn West 25th and Colin McManus 30th ensuring the men's team achieved came in 5th. With Peat Allan, Andrew Robinson, David Vosser and Nick Wadell providing us strength in depth. The next race is on the 6th November at Dibden.
