Sportshall Regional U13 & U15 Final

The Under 13 Under 15 Sportshall South East Regional Championships were held at Burgess Hill Sussex and WADAC athletes were amongst those chosen to represent Hampshire.
nIn the U13 Girls Freya Brannigan & Grace White took part. Freya won her heat of the 4 Lap race and was a commendable 5th in the final as well as helping Hampshire to 3rd place in the 4x2 Lap Relay. Grace had a score of 80 on the 30 second Speed Bounce event as well as picking up 2nd place medals in the Obstacle and 4x1 Lap relays.
nThe Under 13 boys were the best placed team overall with 2nd place in the team event. WADAC were represented by Doug Scally, Charlie Foster, Sam Roberts and Iwan Wrey-Brown. Doug ran really well to finish 5th in his 6 Lap race and also 8th with a good Standing Long Jump of 2.28m. Charlie rose to a fine 57 in the Vertical Jump for 6th place he also ran in the 2 Lap race where he was ranked 12th. Sam bounced his way to 3rd place overall with a score of 83 in 30 seconds. Iwan ran the 4 Lap race and did well for a 9th place finish.
nThe trio Serena Charles, Alina Eichhorst and Sophie Torrance were selected for the Under 15 girls event. Serena did excellently in the Shot with a throw of 9.15m for 5th position, she also competed in the Vertical Jump and 4 Lap race where she 12th. Alina did well in the Speed Bounce with 81 for 5th and also did the Vertical Jump and 4 Lap race. Sophie did a Speed Bounce of 79 and also ran the 2 Lap race.
